The Garden City Shootout 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament 2013 is presented by the City Life Community Center and sponsored by and held at the Southgate Mall.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Full team information is required, and payment must be received in order to participate. Forms need to be signed by minors and parent/guardians. The final date for registration is June 10 at 9 p.m. Entry fees will be refunded based on need or for inclement weather* A complete list of rules can be emailed if requested, but will be included in each teams welcome bag packet. Teams can pick up their welcome packet, at Southgate Mall Garden City Shootout Info Booth by JC Penny 10am - 5pm or starting at 7am on Saturday the 15. Packet info will include time of first game. (All games will be played at the southern end of Southgate Mall in the JCPenny parking lots.) Please pick up your team welcome bag packets at the info booth Before 8am on June 15.

The Best Buy Free Throw and Three-point Contest
 
Ongoing free throw contest will open at 9 a.m.  Only the top 5 contestants will progress on to the champion round on Sunday. The contest will be held at the center court throughout the tournament. There will only be ONE Free Throw Champion. Only ONE will win the $100 gift card to Best Buy  prize. 
 
Ongoing three-point shootout contest will start at Noon. Only the top 5 contestants will progress on to the champion round on Sunday. The contest will be held at the center court throughout the tournament. There will only be ONE Three-point Champion. Only ONE will win the $100 gift card to Best Buy prize.
 
For both contests, there will be a $2 dollar entry fee. Each contestant can re-enter as many times as they choose for an additional $1. Last contestant submission for each contest will end at 5 pm on Saturday.

Sportsmanship Pledge By completing this form, I understand that I am responsible for my behavior -on and off the court- during the 3 on 3 competition. I will represent myself in a sportsman-like manner and, in the event I fail to do so, I realize both my teammates and I may be disqualifies from the tournament, without any refund. Awards At the conclusion of the championship game, please come to the information center where division-specific awards will be issued to the top two teams per category. Please check the master bracket display for the complete list. Team Division Info: Open Adult is a competitive division for top players. Recreation Adult is for players who are just out to have fun. Grades 4 - 12 will be placed in brackets basked on the oldest player's grade in the 2013 year.

Additional Information

If you are under 18 years of age, you must have parent/guardian sign participation waiver form by the day of sign in. Waiver will be also mailed out to team captain. AAU Cardholders Athletes who hold AB-AAU cards are covered by insurance under Amateur Athletic Union terms. Officials MOA certified officials will govern all championships, High School, and Adult divisions games. Inclement Weather If poor weather conditions merit cancellation of the tournament after 1 p.m. on Saturday, there will be no refunds. Partial refunds will be offered if poor weather conditions merit cancellation before the tournament. Warning Serious, catastrophic, and perhaps fatal injury may result from participation in any sport, athletic or recreational activity or physical exercise. By completing this form, I have enrolled in this City Life Community Center program and I know, understand and appreciate the nature of this program and its activities, the benefits to expect, the discomforts, dangers and understand that participation is voluntary and I am free to discontinue participation at any time. Participation is agreement to any dispute discided through Binding Arbitration.
